This was a fast read. Ms. McCaffrey is one of the few writers who writes from the perspective of the beta character. Or I guess the main character is not the "best" and heroine. Instead, Tirza is the slightly overlooked one. She's out shined by her mother. My preference is for her sci-fi/fantas...
