Steamy! Like fog up the computer screen kinda steamy. The chemistry between Anna and Court, you can totally see why they are fated. I also appreciated the realness of the story. I an honestly say that this is the first book I've ever read where the virgin losing her virginity does not have such a go...
I am a new reader of Kresley Cole, but I find that she has went to the top of my list in authors! I kept putting this book off to the side, then one day I decided to take the chance on reading it. I found that I loved this book and read it withing two days (sadly work got in the way or I could have...
Pleasantly surprised. The plots are so so. But Courtland definitely has his moments. Heroine is rather plain as a character. This book kept my interest though. I thought with such tried plots and a relationship that seems to build on sex, the book managed a lot than most romances.
I think Kresley Cole can persuade me into thinking Courtland is an honourable and sexy man after all. I like it. At first he appears to be barbaric, rude and insolent; a mercenary if you will but he changes for the better after Annalia finds him on the rivershore, washed up and near dead. If You Dar...
It's telegraphed from the Romance tag. When she, Lady Allalia Tristan Llorente, meets him, Courtland MacCarrick, it's a rescue. She rescues him (nice change); from a murder attempt by his former employer, as a mercenary, Generald Reynaldo Pascal. She finds him attractive but offputting, he finds ...
A Scot commissioned as mercenary in Andorra mets a Castilian lady. Court´s got a dark past with a curse which haunts him and makes him unable to start a family, Annalía is threatened by the General to marry or lose her brother. They´ve got a lot against them, and Court´s ruggedness is a big part of ...
Court, has been waging against a evil tyrant, General Pascal. Then he is almost killed and escapes and is found by Annalia, who nurses him back to health. When Annalia hears that Pascal has her brother in captivity and in return for his life she is required to marry him. However before she agrees to...
This is my first romance by Kresley Cole and I have throughly enjoyed it. To me one of the signs of a good romance is when you become so invested in the character's story that it gets you emotional reading it. Otherwise, you cry. And I did on pages 320, 328 and 344-45. Isn't that what a good story ...
I really liked this book!I didn't think the heroine was whiny, as many seem to point out in their reviews. I found her funny, smart, witty, courageous, etc. but I do prefer heroines with a brain. The hero, on the other hand, I found obnoxious, at times, and deceiving. In the end, I love the way KC w...
I just love books with those big giant possessive highlanders. This one fits that plot perfectly for me. Court was just so turned upside-down for Anna. I read the whole series in 3 days they were that irresistible!
