The consequences of giving a pig a pancake to eat. It is messy but the pig fixes that.Enjoyable story where children can follow a response. There is logic there but mostly enjoyable illustrations for them to follow as they follow pig through the pages.
Some of Ms. Pierson's Favorite Books!
This is one of my all time favorites! I loved this story as a kid and still enjoy reading it with students! In my classroom I would like to use this for sequencing. Also a great way to implement some "if, then" statements and ideas. This is such a cute story and is engaging to kids to guess what is ...

For example, when the pig gets in the bathtub from being sticky from the syrup, he then asks for some syrup. As a teacher I would teach cause and ef...

I would read this book aloud during snack time. The guided reading level is K. I would use this in first, second, and/or third grade.

★★★★If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura NumeroffAnother cute story from the If You Give series. This all starts with a pig and a pancake. But then, he needs this, and that, and those, until you are back at square one, a pig and a pancake.

Yet another in a series of stories about children held captive to the demands of small, intelligent monsters, bent on havoc. Yeah, it's what having children is like.
