Since then my beliefs have changed drastically and I no longer believe the principles herein, but it's still a good, simple story. I like the character...
I read this is in, what, sixth grade? And it was like mind-blowing. I don't know that I'd put up with it now, or that I would have even 10 years ago, but still, you know? The memories are gold-tinged and filled with meaning.

There was a time when I totally fell for stuff like this: metaphysical, a little new agey, perhaps, but I wanted to believe in something more.I got better.
