This was compulsively readable and probably would have been a four star read for me, but for the fact that the identity of the guilty party was so painfully obvious. At least it was to me, at any rate. But still, I did enjoy reading it, and am looking forward to reading more of this author's work.
Ruth Ware has just shot right up my list of go-to authors after reading this one. I loved it! I wanted to read something suspenseful, but I also wanted all the other elements that make a book great, like atmosphere, setting, characters and it was all there. Twenty-six year old Nora receives an e-m...

So...what happened was, the book at first was very intriguing and I liked the dynamics and it quickly fell apart. I mean it just did not stick the landing at all.
