What a complete waste of time!!!I was expecting endless cuddling and a decent love story but it was dull and boring at best. There is no endearing long winter spent in each other arms in the way I craved. The MC felt empty for me, and the baddies were rolling-eye inducing.
A believable historical set in the wilds of Colorado. I liked the characters a lot and I was pleased that most of the "angst" in the book centered around survival of one kind or another. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.
I wavered between 2 and 3 stars. The blurb just about sums up the story. Maybe it was the isolation of Pride and Bear from the rest of the world or just the simpleness of the story that had me waiting for...more.
