by Justine Eyre, Nora Roberts
Very short... less than three hours on audio. I'm glad that I listened to this instead of read the text because the narrator added a lot to the story by putting on a fantastic Irish accent. Great Beauty and the Beast-like tale, but terrible narrator.
Audio-3.5 My first Nora Roberts book, a short. I enjoyed it read like a fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast type but the man was not a beast. It was a predictable romance and yet I enjoyed it.
Justine Eyre is a pretty good narrator, but this was not her best. She didn't have a lot to work with here either. It was almost Highlander condensed to 2 hours. Not very good.
This book was just okay. It's one of the few books from Ms. Roberts that didn't do much for me.
