I actually didn't like anything by Hemingway until I read this when I was getting my master's.
I'm still not a Hemingway fan but this collection of early short stories are various enough so that there's a good chance you'll find something to like about it.It's also fun to teach as I can attest, having used it in my high school English comp classes.
