I hate books like this. I stay up all night reading them and then, I am so frustrated at the characters I can’t sleep. Let’s talk about Sam first. She has this huge crush on her best and only friend Nick. Now instead of expressing her feeling to Nick, she wants to make him jealous so that he will ...

Sigh. Sad to say i didn't enjoy this as much as I did "But I Love Him".I guess it was because i didn't feel connected with Sam at all for some reason.I didn't feel what she was going through. I couldn't feel her struggles. I didnt feel bad about what was happening to her. There was something missing ...

Watch out! Spoilers are all over the place.I was hesistant to read this book. I am not really into books that feature rape. Luckily I found out this book didn't feature rape, just a girl accidentally saying yes to people when asked vaguely about something. Though, really that girl is an idiot. She c...

I was expecting her reasons for perpetuating the lie to be much stronger, for there to be a much deeper moral dilemma. I didn't hate it, but I don't think the author took full advantage of the potential.

"In Too Deep" by Amanda Grace is an example of a book that, with the right considerations and development, could've been a much better novel in its overall construction. I saw a great deal of what this book wanted to do in terms of being a story grounded in morals - but that morality is shaded in m...

This is such a unique idea for a story! Amanda writes with such emotion and her characters are always deep and have characteristics that are so easy to relate to, even if we aren't in their exact situation. She makes it so that the rumor snowballing is so easy to believe and the circumstances leadin...

Strong start, solid storyline, realistic ending, but I still didn't enjoy the book all that much. It was a bit too juvenile for me to really enjoy. I would most definitely recommend this book for teens, though. It's a morality play of sorts, and the consequences fit the crime, I'd say.
