This story left me with a huge question mark in my head. How did both know each names and that Max was a vampire? How did they find each other? What remains with me is a huge 'Why'.

Nice vampire tale meeting his mate. The story ends with uniting of the two main characters. It feels like the end of the story is just the beginning. Maybe a novel in the making?

This was an enjoyable story, but I kept thinking there were parts missing. The ending seemed a little rushed, and that is the point where I really wanted to read more. This might have better as a full-length story with more detail of their time after they finally got together.
