Oh, God...Yet another "Team Sixteen" member that I didn't particularly care for (Mike Muldoon came across as not overly bright in Over the Edge, and obnoxious at the same time with his bragging how easy is for him to get laid). In his book he was coupled with an annoying (older) heroine with issues ...
I didn't expect to like Mike so much, or to *ever* have sympathy for Mary Ann, but this book lays the foundation for some very intense story lines in GONE TOO FAR.
I was very disappointed in this book. It started off strong and just kind of lost it's charm midway. The ending was the most frustrating. Won't stop me from reading further, just this was my least favorite so far.
Buddy Read with Wendy F.3.5 starsClearly Brockmann has a plan because Into the Night feels like a transition book after finishing it. We have another heartbreaking WWII story of Charlie and Vince and moving on from lose. We read about Mike and Joan, their road to finding each other. We read more ab...

I know from reading reviews that it's not a favorite but I fell hard for Muldoon and found his "courtship" of Joan fun and refreshing. I definitely liked the secondary plot, Mary-Lou getting a life and becoming more than a paper thin...
I enjoyed this book and always wished we would see more of Joan and Muldoon in further books but I guess that's all we get! Sam's wife was annoying but her development in this story arc is one of the things that makes me such a big Brockmann fan. People change and grow and can devlop more dimensio...

In this story yet another of her larger than life heroes falls prey to true love while battling a terrorist cell or two along the way. While I’ve been following this series since its beginning I do believe I ...
