(Spoiler) Apart from the total destruction of Las Vegas, this volume is more down-to-earth (no pun intended) dealing with Mark & Eve's relationship, that of Mark's mother, that of his friends etc.. There are super-hero confrontations but this is much more about resolving conflict without fighting ...
