I think this one is the strongest of the series. This one and DELICIOUS are more engaging than the last two books, IMHO.

Don’t get me wrong she’s not afraid to work and is handling her job and her daughter, but she misses her family and her ex is an addict that uses her everything he needs money. I liked her story and how she completely trusted Walker, because he needed some help to overcome what happened in his past....

Awww, this was really sweet. I loved Walker. He was just so much more than I expected. We got a small peek at him in Delicious but I loved this in depth look at him. He totally didn’t give himself enough credit, but i’m glad he came to his senses. Alyssa was awesome and so strong, but I can’t b...

Irresistible by Susan Mallery Walker is back from the military service and lives at the top apartment. Under him is Zoey and her mom, Elissa. She does beads and works at a local store. This story was good enough to finish but I skimmed a lot. The main characters would say one thing then do another. The intermittent side stories didn't add anything to the main plot. Ex-Marine Walker helps his neighbor Elissa fix her flat tire but neither of them wants to get involved.

I liked the book, although I liked the first book more. The chemistry between Walker and Elissa was great and I liked that she did things her way. What I didn't like was the storyline between her and her parents & brother. It seemed a bit stange and rushed. And I was missing the little stories about C...

How can Gloria be such a heartless person? And who is she to determine who is good enough for her grandsons? It amazes me what good people the Buchanans grew into considering she was the one to raise them. Walker was such a good guy -- it's a good thing he could care less what his grandmother thinks...

3.5 stars. I found this low-key story about an emotionally closed-off former Marine and a struggling single mom a solid read, but more interesting than romantic or exciting. The theme of mistakes and forgiveness is strong, and the ending was poignant.

This is the second story in the Buchanan family. Absolutely better than the first book. I think the series is progressing nicely. The chemistry between Walker and Elissa was gradual and I felt the sexual tension. Elissa is a single mother who doesn’t need the distraction of her sexy neighbor Walker ...
