J Edward Neill, author and battle-tested suburbian warrior, has his hands in many pots. Foremost, he is the author of the Tyrants of the Dead trilogy, including the epic fantasy novels Down the Dark Path, Dark Moon Daughter, and his personal favorite, Nether Kingdom. He is the co-author of the Hollow Empire, a six-part serial novel due to hit Kindles everywhere in Winter 2013. After the release of Hollow Empire, he plans to finish the two-part prequal to Tyrants of the dead, The Darkness between the Stars. Last, and quite possibly least, he is a prime contributor to the website www.TesseraGuild.com. A reader of mass quantities of fantasy and sci-fi, J Edward became obsessed with writing fiction in early 2001. On one bitterly cold morning in the lowest corridor of his cubicle, he set pen to paper (or rather fingers to keyboard) and began hammering away on what would become a much larger project than he ever imagined. Since that day, J Edward has spent nearly all his free time lost in his daydreams, conjuring ways to write the kind of stories he always loved as a child. When he's not glooming in front of his laptop or iPad, J Edward masterminds the fantasy strategy game Kings, now in its seventh iteration. While writing is his prime passion, he also has a powerful affinity for visual arts, quirky foreign films, and his seven-string Ibanez guitar, Beelzebub. J Edward currently lives in the 'burbs of North Georgia, where he moonlights as a foodie, a sipper of too much pinot noir, and the most cantankerous member of his small but beloved family.
