I liked this book, but I liked Latakia better. It doesn't mean anything-it doesn't mean FotFotE is worse or something.I just liked it less. But it was a good read.
2.5 stars.Overall impression: yawn. Too touchy-feely, too adorable, too predictable, too long for a story that couldn't really hold my attention suspense and story arc-wise... Light and ok read, nothing heavy (although the MC is recovering from his ex-lover's suicide..).
A very intense tale of a man who went to the Big City only to end up back home to find the life he wanted and needed. There were some interesting open-minded towns folk male & female & Brick was fascinating to say the least.
Wow, this was a great read. I loved that the story, characters, and setting was full fledged and thought out. I am not a big fan of the fall in love with your grade/high school bully romances but this one made it work. I liked the how the author let his characters grow and change with the story not ...

It took me almost the entire book before I warmed up to James. I loved the supporting characters and I thought Brick's story was the one that really touched my heart. I have read both of JF Smith's books and he writes a wonderful love story. I am looking forward to more from this author.
4-4.5 stars. Seriously awesome book that I felt I was getting for a steal at $.99 cents! Loved the character, the emotions, the family and friendship interactions...can't gush about it enough. I would of loved some 'on-page' smexxin, but that's just my pervy self. *grins*Definitely adding this autho...
This was another late, late night read for me. I told myself I wouldn't switch off the light until the MC's shared that first kiss...and JF Smith kept me dangling and hanging on in that oh, so sweet way. I adored this story. The plot is simple and certainly not unique but it's the utterly adorable c...
