You know how some books are very good, but trigger something inside you and you end up disliking it, because it is making you so sad. That was this book for me. It depressed the heck out of me. So don’t think this is a bad book because it isn’t. It just isn’t the book for me.Tommy is 22 and has 7 li...
An excellent m/m family romance. Tommy cares for his seven younger siblings abandoned by their addicted father and stepmother. Local cop Bobby does all he can to help despite Tommy's fierce independence. The guys are perfect together and the story carries you along with ease.
This book was rough. It was hard to read about the constant sh!$ that Tommy dealt with on a daily basis. I'm so not cut out for that kind of life that even reading about it was depressing and frustrating when he constantly turned down help. I like the way it ended though. Not perfect but better.
This is a very easy 5 star read. It was angsty and there were things about Tommy that drove me up the wall and the relationship between him and Bobby seemed rocky a lot of the time, but you know what? It felt real. It made me feel like I was in the book, in the story, and I wanted good things for th...

I was diligently working on catching up on some series that I've been reading and yes there are a few of them, but I'd fallen behind. When what should happen but my friends on GR starting posting and raving about this new book called 'The Last Thing He Needs' well I resisted valiantly for a while, t...
4.5 starsThis book is a beautiful story about a family dealing with the crappy hand they were dealt and finding love, hope and unexpected family. Tommy and Bobby's romance flowed naturally and not with instant love and trust. Both really had to work at it. The story is written well and while ther...
