A truly charming and wonderful book about teaching and being a teacher.
Still a very good book even though it is not up to par with [b:A Month in the Country|60707|A Month in the Country|J.L. Carr|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1388176690s/60707.jpg|2825054]. Looking forward to reading more from this quite sophisticated, but simple, wordsmith.

New Review! Great War survivor, glorious prose, life-changing moments. http://tinyurl.com/psdloo3 Like the Bonnard on the cover, it's a richly colored, simply rendered, and deeply satisfying artwork. It's not flashy or overwrought. It is elegant and luxurious and I am very glad that I read it.
