J.R.McRae has published poetry and short stories internationally. Her poetry is in Quadrant, Divan, Social Alternatives, Antipodes and many other journals as well as many anthologies, most recently in "A Long and Winding Road" edited by Marlow Weaver. Her short stories are in Winged Ruby, Rose & Thorn and "100 Stories for Queensland", "Basics of Life", "Stories for Sendai" and numbers of Static Movement anthologies edited by Chris Bartholomew and George Wilhite. She is also an artist and photographer. Her illustrated poems have graced 3 covers of Ripples and been published in Micropress Yates/The Mozzie and Dream Chaser. She has worked teaching English expression to international postgraduates, as an assessment package writer/editor and book reviewer for the education department, a reference librarian and in a circus!
