JR Tschopp is a writer, filmmaker, artist and geek. He has been involved professionally in video production for more than ten years, working in live productions and television. Since the age of 16, he has written and shot over two dozen short videos as well as completed six feature-length screenplays. JR studied creative writing and theatre at Black Hawk College, focusing on directing and production.In addition to his filmmaking endeavors, JR co-founded and serves as one of the editors for Dark Highlands Anthology, (a literary and art journal that specializes in dark genre subject matters), is revising his first novel, and continues to write screenplays and short "weird" fiction. He also writes and draws the weekly internet comic strip "Life in the Quad."When he has free time it is spent playing the occasional disc golf game, drinking craft and imported beers in his friend Brad's driveway, hanging out at his local coffee shop, and obsessing about tacos.
