Jaap Kooijman (Amsterdam 1967) is Associate Professor at the Media and Culture department of the Universiteit van Amsterdam. His essays on American politics, pop culture, and art have been published in The Presidential Studies Quarterly, The Velvet Light Trap, Post Script, The European Journal of Cultural Studies, and GLQ.
