Buffalo-born, Boston-based illustrator and designer, Jack McGowan specializes in high energy, ink and brush illustrations and clean design.After receiving a B.F.A. in Illustration from Syracuse University, he worked in-house for the Buffalo design firm Wynne Creative Group, developing visual material for national and local brands.Now operating on his own, he focuses on editorial illustration, branding, and drawing comics and kids books.His debut graphic novel is The Comic Book Story of Video Games, written by Jonathan Hennessey and published by Ten Speed Press.
