I enjoyed this collection of poems. Silly poems that make kids laugh are always fun and an easy way to get kids reading poetry. However, I’m not a fan of the “Swami Gourami” poem. This is Jack Prelutsky's first book of poetry. It has a bunch of silly and fun poems about animals. The poems are fun to read and a lot of them put a smile on my face.Enjoyable poetry book and a nice first book by this wonderful author of poetry.

Very short book that is a countdown of ghosts. It's fun and the illustrations are nice.I liked it, but I think Prelutsky's It's Halloween is better. I'd recommend checking that out in addition to this one.
