Born and raised in Southern Florida, (Her Pop kept his promise) Jacki still lives there today with her husband, novelist Franklin E Wales. They share their home with an eighteen year old rescued mutt named Edgar, who is a Sage, a seven year old Beagle named Bailey, who is pretty sure he is still a puppy and a rescued bottle fed kitten (he still thinks he is a kitten, even though he is three years old) named OZ, as in Wizard of! They also have a stray cat they named Girl that they have fed outside for the last ten years who acts as their attack cat. A professional photographer by trade, Jack and Grace: A Love Story (based on the true tale of her parent's romance) is her first published novel.
