I probably shouldn't love this book because it's so crass and trashy and much longer than it really could have been, but I do love it and I have decided that is all I'm going to say. A great rollercoaster ride!

The plot is ridiculous, the characters are one dimensional but I can't get enough of these guilty pleasure reads.I had only read about 30% before the weekend and managed to blow through the rest by Sunday. You know you're not going to get a literary masterpiece and I always loved that Jackie Collin...

4.5 stars rounded down. Thanks so much to my friend Jackie for passing this along to me. I don't think I've ever read a Jackie Collins novel before, I really enjoyed the referral. I do have a guilty pleasure of reading Hollywood novels. When I in high school, doing community theater and teen page...

I first read this book a very long time ago 21 years later it's still shamelessly entertaining. I don't think anyone is picking up a Jackie Collins novel looking for highbrow literature and that's okay. Sometimes my brain requires junk food. Toward the end I was growing a bit tired of this book tho...

I saw parallels to Jacqueline Susann's style in this book - the story is split primarily between three women. Elaine is presented as a stereotypical, vapid, Beverly Hills wife who pays more attention to outward appearances. Montana is a second wife and ambitious. She wants to see her screenplay pr...

Oh wow, it was one hell of a "THRILL" ride from L.A.'s fast lanes, studios and beach houses to it's darkest alleys, behind-the-bedroom-door dramas. This book gives you an insight of all the hot and happening, juicy tidbits and gossips of the tinsel town. From first page of the book, I totally got ho...

I thought with having read over 130 books this year and with the release of GTA V that I wouldn't get much reading done during my week off, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of words and books I have read this year. But with my target of 150 books in 2013 so close I decided to continue reading the bo...

Jackie proves once again why she is my favourite author. Got through this in just under a day and it had me reading until the early hours as her books never fail to do. Full of outrageous storylines and even more outrageous characters it was a fantastic read. It wasn't a patch on her earlier stuff h...
