(I got a copy through NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.)This is one of those overdue reviews, since I've had this book on my tablet for quite a while. I remember requesting it partly because of its cover (the paperback one -- by comparison, the Kindle cover on Amazon is pretty bland), whi...

Found as a steampunk book, the story started different from what I had expected. It soon turned into a wonderful, creative read that ended too soon. I love the way the story moves and also the writing is excellent. I promise I won't be jealous. Okay, not too long. If you like magic, automatons and s...

Historical fantasy set in a city based on Weimar Berlin. I liked this one quite a bit, although I never completely bought the romance. But it’s an unusual and intriguing setting and Dolamore is very good at little bits of description that really set the scene.

I wish to thank the publisher and author for providing me a complimentary copy of this book, through Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. Doing so does not sway my judgment in any way.An interesting concept, quirky storyline, interesting characters but unfortunately put together in too much...

[I got an ARC through NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. The book not being released yet, some things might be liable to change by the time it hits the shelves.] 3.5 stars. I had my qualms with this novel, but overall it had just the right amount of tension and mystery going to keep me w...

*How I came to have an advanced proof of this lovely book: My mother works at a local bookstore in MD. The owner asked me to read the book and give her a feeling on what I felt about it and if the writing is decent. This review is done purely for my own pleasure in hopes that others will read it com...
