James F. David was born in Minneapolis, lived in Twin Falls idaho and then Portland Oregon. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and earned his doctorate in psychology at The Ohio State University. David currently lives in Tigard Oregon. David has always been a story teller-in the best sense-and began writing them down after graduate school. In his first novel, Footprints of Thunder, David used his imagination to bring dinosaurs back to the present and in the process destroying his home town. Most of his novels are set in the Pacific Northwest. As you might expect, psychologists tend to get special treatment in his books.
