James Duvall (1953 - ) was born on Castle AFB, California, to James and Patricia. Raised as a space program junkie and science fiction fanatic, he went on to become both an archaeologist and pilot. Currently Dr. Duvall gives flying lessons in northern Nevada and travels on their sailboat with his wife, Pamela.Earlier careers included a short stint in the US Navy, managing a carwash chain, teaching high school science, and teaching college.Writing has always been pleasuable, and he has published many scientific articles as well as sailing articles and academic works. Dr. Duvall finds that science fiction is fun and allows for speculation outside of the rigorous demands of scientific research.
