James Goho is a writer and independent scholar with many publications on Gothic horror literature, numerous social science studies in academic journals, and short stories in literary magazines. The results of his social science research are in such academic journals as Medical Teacher, Journal of Distance Education, and the book, Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education (Pearson). His interest in Gothic horror centers on its socio-historic context, its telling of hidden away stories, and its explorations in the origins of human fear and dread. James earned a BA from the University at Buffalo and MA from the University of Manitoba. He resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, but also is found at times in Gilbert, Arizona, and Boston, Massachusetts.
