In 1999 I sold my law practice to write full time. In 2008, I signed a four-book contract with The Story Plant, a small, agile publisher in Stamford, Connecticut. My first novel, 'A World I Never Made,' was released in April, 2009. The second, 'Blood of My Brother,' came out in December, 2010, and the third, 'Sons and Princes,' in April, 2011. My fourth novel, 'Gods and Fathers,' was released in February 2012. 'The Fifth Man," a sequel to 'Sons and Princes," came out in early 2013. (Perhaps this is the start of a series. I think that might be fun. Stay tuned). My latest novel, "No Dawn For Men," with co-author Carlos Davis, was released on December 3, 2013. It is my first historical novel, but it is much more. Read the Amazon reviews and you'll see what I mean. This will definitely be a series--we are working on a sequel set in occupied France in 1940.I have also written six short stories that stand alone as pieces of short fiction, but that are meant to accompany my first two novels. The first three of these was released in February, 2011, under the title, 'Anyone Can Die.'

This is the first book I read by James LePore, but it defenitely isn't the last book I will read by him. Gods and Fathers is a well written and developed story and with it's only 260 pages a fast read. Due to the different points of view you get a good look from different sides of the story, but it ...
