Jim Hendrickson is a retired Professor of foreign languages. He speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese as well as smatterings of many other languages. He also has a unusual talent of imitating eleven foreign languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Arabic, Swedish, Polish and Mohawk.Dr. Hendrickson has published more than 60 foreign language textbooks as well as articles on psycholinguistics. He has also published six ebooks on his world travels.He has taught at all educational levels: elementary school, high school, adult education, community college, college, and university. He has taught in California, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and Washington. He worked as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, a Senior Fulbright Lecturer in Bolivia and Chile, and a Language Consultant for the United States Peace Corps in Belize.Dr. Hendrickson has traveled in over 130 countries and is an avid long-distance tour bicyclist. He has cycled extensively in the United States, as well as in Europe, Africa, Australia, and on various islands in Oceania.
