James Schneider (Jaime) was born in the early 1960s, and is from a large blended family totaling nine children, where lots of inspiration for stories have swirled in his head until finally seeing his first novel, "In the Shadow of Silver Lake," published.Having been an award-winning real estate broker for the past 30 years, he has experienced all sorts of situations that he hopes to incorporate into his future satirical suspense stories as well.His growing following of readers have sent him notes of appreciation such as "Great read, couldn't put it down for two days of my vacation," and "I loved the end of the story, never expected such a twist!"His award winning debut novel, "In The Shadow of Silver Lake," was released to rave reviews in May, 2011. He was selected and awarded the SILVER MEDAL for all Suspense, Murder Mystery and Thrillers in the United States by the Independent Publishers Association.His third novel, "ANNAPOLIS: Murder at High Tide," was released in July, 2013 to critical acclaim. As a native Annapolitan, he is enjoying his newest works which will be set in and around the historic city - where there are many stories to be shared, blending historical fact with fiction.Schneider is currently working on his next novel, "ANNAPOLIS: The Southgate Murders" and a non-fiction book "In Their Voice." Both should be released by Spring, 2014.James lives in Annapolis, Maryland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with his life partner Glenn Randall and two Scottish Terriers, named Grunt and Spike.
