James Warren holds an M.Div. degree, and has spent decades studying the Bible. His interest in Rene Girard was sparked in 2001, when a friend mentioned Girard's work in connection with the events of 9/11. He has been immersed in Girardian studies ever since, and is a member of COV&R (Colloquium on Violence and Religion), the international organization of scholars interested in Girard's mimetic theory and its many applications.When not reading and writing, James works as a speaker and magician, combining magic and message to address over 500,000 students across America on important issues like bullying.
