My photographic work started with self-portraits, I don't know exactly how it happened but I can give you a good reason: a self-portrait offers the public (photo/face) as well as the intimate (mood, gesture, personality) dimensions of a person in it's pure form, the person in the picture is alone when the picture is taken. I write about subjects that I am personally involved in or witnessing, I think it comes from the urgent need I have to "deal with the real".Formally, I skip the classification of genres and disciplines: art, literature, photographs, video, texts, documentation, art installations and performances. I am best known for projects that last for long time and are extended into different media and materialized in different forms.My life falls between literary characters, like "The little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry who sits to watch the sunset and cold analysis like "Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State" by Engels.
