Waaay too short to merit anything higher than 2 out of 5. Slightly amusing, Retro Demonology was free so I can't really complain about its content or lack thereof. Fans of the series will enjoy the ultra-quick glimpse into Riley's life before the events of The Demon Trapper's Daughter/Forsaken.
This is bad.I thought it was a real book talking about the history of Demons, it turned out that it had nothing!!
Thoroughly enjoyable prequel to the Demon Trapper's Daughter, made me immediately wish for a copy of the full length book to read but alas have not gotten around to buying one yet... SOON!

It's also available as a free download and is only a handful of pag...
A simple yet well-written story with enough background and quirky elements to entice me to head over to Amazon and immediately download Forsaken. Until I saw the words "love square" in the reviews. No. I'm not going there. I'll wait for the sequel's reviews to let me know whether it's safe to contin...
This is a quick (as in, you'll probably read it over lunch and still have a lot of time to spare) little taste of the Demon Trapper's world. You get to see Riley go on her first job and meet some of the stranger occupants of Riley's Atlanta. Good peek at the character.
Free downloaded short story - downloaded from Kobobooks.com 7/16/11 - No longer available at Kobo, but I found it hereNot bad, kind of a cute little short story about a girl that traps demons. The first 2 chapters of The Demon Trapper's Daughter were also included.I might just have to find the book ...
This is a must-read for everyone who is interested in The Demon Trappers Daughter! It gives you a little insight into a couple of days before The Demon Trappers Daughter starts. It's full of colorful descriptions of a hippie couple that Riley encounters on her first solo job. Short and sweet!
