Jane Alison is the author of a memoir, The Sisters Antipodes, and three novels: Natives and Exotics, The Marriage of the Sea, and The Love-Artist. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Boston Globe, Seed, TriQuarterly, and The Germanic Review, among others, and she has collaborated with composer Thomas Sleeper on a mini-opera and a song-cycle. Her latest book is CHANGE ME, a new translation of Ovid's stories of sexual transformation. She lives in Charlottesville and teaches in the MFA program at the University of Virginia.
