Jane is an author, after-dinner speaker, and the Principal of School of Booze, a corporate events company, where she produces and presents beer, cider, wine, and spirits tasting events. She is London's first, and currently only, female beer sommelier and an enthusiastic advocate for matching beer with food rather than wine.Jane is author of several non-fiction books including Brilliant Britain (published by Summersdale) - a compendium of the unusual traditions that make Britain unique, and Pub Scene (published by Wiley Academy). Writing is one of Jane's favourite pastimes and she's so thankful that English is her native language because it has such a rich lexicon which makes writing even more of a pleasure.Jane is the founder of Operalicious ®; a set of unique opera events where the food & drink served is themed according to the opera and complemented by professional opera singers and musicians.
