Chasing dreams runs in my family. My parents moved from Manhattan to Anchor Point, Alaska when I was too young to protest their decision--a state of affairs that I rectified the minute I could speak for myself.Living on moose meat and potatoes, wearing really ugly clothes that were chosen for frostbite protection, not style, and freezing in the dark for most of the year was not the paradise for me that it was for my parents.
