Janet Joyce Holden was born in the north of England and currently lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles, California. She is the author of Blood Paternal, Carousel and its soon to be released sequel The Only Red Is Blood, and a number of short stories in various anthologies.She enjoys writing contemporary novels of dark adventure, which, more often than not, have a tendency to wander casually into the realms of fantasy, horror and the supernatural.Any spare time usually involves a dalliance with one or more sharp objects - sewing needles, knitting needles, pruning sheers, cat claws, and maybe a sword or two.
