Janet Lawler's critically acclaimed children's books, published by major, specialty, and mid-publishers, include If Kisses Were Colors, Snowzilla, A Father's Song, A Mother's Song, Tyrannoclaus, and Silly Ghosts. She has written a non-fiction counting book for National Geographic, featuring undersea photographs by award-winning photo journalist Brian Skerry. Her next picture book, Love Is Real, will be published by HarperCollins.Janet's love of family, nature, and "all things silly" inspires much of her writing.
