Action comes easy to me. I've raced motorcycles, owned horses, drove a tractor trailer New York to California, and did a bazillion other lesser activities--like a brief stint with whitewater rafting. During thirty-some years of dabbling in martial arts, I have trained in such styles at Tae Kwon Do,(I call it the gateway art), Kung Fu (gotta love the Chinese stuff), American Combato (a kill or incapacitate style), Krav Maga (the martial art of the Mossad) and just enough grappling to know I don't want to fight from the ground. I am currently training in Kali (emphasis is on weapons and destruction of the limbs) and Jeet Kune Do (a combination of Maphilindo Silat, Wing Chung & Muay Thai), with a class a week in Muay Thai just for exercise (too much punching, which is rarely done in a real fight). I am a certified Edge Weapons Combatives Instructor. Finally, after 22 years in the US Army, I exhaled and settled down in Pittsburgh. Since I don't heal as quickly as I used to, I now live the active life through my characters.I have completed two novels of my four-part Iron Angel action series, and have completed a supernatural story about Dan, the One Who Sees the Unseen. I belong to a fabulous critique group that is in the process of critiquing the supernatural novel.
