Janet Rehfeldt is an award winning designer, author and instructor. She has publication credits with Martingale & Company; Weltbild; DRG (Dynamic Resource Group) and SoHo Publishing. She has editing credits with Martingale & Company; Sterling Chapel in conjunction with Martingale & Company; and Accord Publishing Ltd.She has been knitting and crocheting since the age of 7. She is the owner of Knitted Threads Designs, LLC. Her designs and articles can be found in leading knitting and crochet publications including, Crochet! Magazine; Crochet Today; Cast On; Skacel Collections, Inc.; Plymouth Yarn Design Studio; Martingale publications; DRG publications. She is the author of Häkelsocken-Hits Top-Modelle für jeden Geschmack from Weltbild; Toe-Up Techniques for Hand Knit Socks; Crocheted Socks!; Eye-Catching Crochet; Terrific Toe-Up Socks; More Crocheted Socks; and most recently, Crochet Pink from Martingale & Company. She teaches and conducts classes and workshops on both the local and national level. When she's not knitting, crochet or spinning, you can find Janet sitting in her screened porch, writing fiction with the wilds of the protected green-space behind her home as her muse. Janet lives in Wisconsin with her husband.
