A dyed in the wool Western Canadian, Janice has written local history, children's stories, plays, songs, mystery novels and a college composition textbook. Her Randy Craig mystery series was the first set in Edmonton, and features reluctant amateur and peripheral academic, Miranda Craig. Janice has taught English literature and creative writing at the post-secondary level and now writes for the Alberta government as her day job. She is married, the mother of two daughters, and is not allergic to hamsters.
