Jared began experimenting with online courses when the web was young and paper-based independent study courses were the only avenue students could travel to access higher education with any kind of flexibility. Since then, he has helped scores of instructors design and teach effective online and blended courses by applying current research and theories from the fields of education, cognitive science, and web usability.
