1.5 stars. Overall, I thought The Guilty was awful. It was filled with boozy, unsympathetic, cliched characters, the writing was slipshod, the mystery wasn't terribly interesting, and I absolutely hated the ending. Excellent book! A young reporter is suddenly and unexpectedly involved in a crime story, where mafia and policemen have their role.
