Joey has never been in love, he's never been burnt by that feeling before so when he sees/hears from his ...

Loved Jay Bell's books Something Like Summer and Something Like Winter so was very excited to find this free read. It is a sweet little story about Joey "If Joey had been a porridge, he would have been just right.", moving beyond sex to discover love.

Short story, but the main character grows by leaps and bounds. Nice coming of age story.

I normally don't read short stories if I can help it but I was told Bell really captures late teens, early twenty year olds very well. It's true. I kept reminding myself the were high school students.
