I very much enjoyed this as the end of the trilogy. We were met with more characters, crazy shenanigans, and a self-aware A.I. that was bonkers, but not really. This finished out the story very well. I don't think I have it in me to write a more articulate review. Just know I liked this very, ve...

This book was awesome! I listened to this on Audible and let me tell you, hearing each character played by diffmmerent narrators was the way to go. The groups' acting was excellent. Each voice was truly distinct which gave it a more organic feel. The character development was superb, the writing...

This book is a delight! I was really unsure about this one because the story is told through emails, instant messages, military files and medical records. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get engaged with the story without more traditional prose to unite everything but I was so wrong. This...

Holy shit. This book. This damn book. Kaufman and Kristoff are absolute magic when they combine their powers for evil...err...good. The set up of this novel is pretty good. The cast too is varied in terms of gender. In other words, the heroine is not the only kick ass girl. Once I was able to "forget" that the lead was 17 (she so does not sound like it), the book worked. Quite enjoyable. Nice, quick read.

This follow-up to Illuminae was phenomenal! I became immediately invested in the characters and their plight. Everything was so exciting and there was so much going in, but again, it never got confusing. This format continues to intrigue me and I'm very much looking forward to reading the conclus...

Hellloooo crazy Space Opera + SciFi mashup. Right out of the gate I HAVE to start by commenting on Illuminae's formatting. This book has a strikingly imaginative layout and for that reason alone I gave it my all. Is that shallow? Maybe, but see for yourself before you cast that stone. Having said, t...
