Interesting sci-fi romance with lots of adventure and creative beings. Most of the hero and heroine's behavior in the relationship throughout the story seemed mature especially at the end. Cidra was raised in serenity and asks adventurer Severance to take her on a quest to find her missing compone...
It's one of Krentz's earlier books and it's interesting to see her play with some of the ideas she develops later. The pace is fast. The two characters memorable and work well together. Not sure how much the rug pet helps the plot--I definitely prefer her later work with the dust bunnies on Harmony....
