Jeanne Barrack is a native New Yorker, born and bred in Brooklyn, married for thirty-odd years (and they have been odd) to her high school sweetheart. Jeanne plays guitar and studied voice privately with a Juilliard coach and has a Masters in Music Therapy. She sings everything from folk music to Grand Opera - in ten languages including Gaelic and Hebrew. Many of her stories draw inspiration from music.Among her current offerings for Liquid Silver Books is "A Perfect Symmetry", an erotic, Urban Fantasy romance based on Irish myths. Jeanne has been a lover of all things Irish for most of her life and all of her books thus far with LSB -- "The Shimmering Flame" and "A Song of the Sidhe" -- are inspired by Irish lore and music."The Game" from Aspen Mountain Press, is a contemporary, erotic work with a holiday theme. Set in New York City and upstate New York, it offers a different look at 'the game' of dreidle spinning. "The Sweet Flag", was her first gay story and its inter-racial/multi-cultural, erotic, paranormal themes have garnered rave reviews. She's working on a sequel for it for Loose Id publishers. Her other works with LI -- "No One Else on Earth" and "The Crystal Flacon" -- are both contemporary paranormal works. She also is proud of her participation in the "I Do! Anthology" for marriage equality published by MLR Press. Jeanne's goal for her gay fiction writing are stories set in her cultural heritage, be they historical or paranormal -- or both. With MLR Press's publication of "Bend in the Road", an historical novel set in the 1880s, Jeanne is well on the way to fulfilling this goal.
