Jeannine Van Eperen was born in Beloit, Wisconsin. As a child she lived in Chicago, then her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Though she now is back in the state of Wisconsin for several years, she usually refers to New Mexico as home. When not writing, Jeannine and husband, Lou, travel as much as possible. She jokingly says, when Lou begins a sentence, "Honey, shall we..." She answers, "My bags are packed." They've visited all fifty states and Puerto Rico, most Canadian Provinces and at last count thirty-six countries. Jeannine loves to use places she's visited in her stories, but often creates fictional towns and cities as locations. When not writing, reading or traveling, she enjoys knitting and crocheting for her family and playing euchre with her friends. She is a mother to Daniel McGrew, a stepmother to Ray, a grandmother and an aunt to many.
