Born and raised in Singapore, Jee Leong Koh read English at Oxford University and studied Creative Writing at Sarah Lawrence College, NY. He is the author of four books of poems, including "Payday Loans" (Poets Wear Prada Press), "Equal to the Earth" (Bench Press) and "Seven Studies for a Self Portrait" (Bench Press). His book "The Pillow Book" (Math Paper Press) will be translated into Japanese and published by Awai Books in 2014. His poems have appeared in PN Review, Drunken Boat, Common Knowledge, and other journals in Australia, China, India, Singapore, UK and USA. He now lives in New York City and blogs at Song of a Reformed Headhunter.
